Law of Attraction Books for Beginners

If you are new to manifesting and the law of attraction, then these books will help you get started on your journey. I am quite scientifically minded, so I compiled a list based on what has worked best for me based on empirical evidence.

The Secret – Rhonda Byrne

I remember watching The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and being so excited about the law of attraction and how I can start using it.

It is a great book to help you understand the basics all using your mind to attract circumstances and people to your life. when I read this book I am stood that I’ve been manifesting my whole life based on my beliefs my thoughts to my mind.

The Feeling is The Secret – Neville Goddard

The feeling is the secret is another all-time favorite of mine. Even though I read this book you have to buy journey within the law of attraction it provided valuable insight as to how I can start using the law of assumption and start manifesting much more quickly.

There are a lot of books recording the law of attraction but the feeling is the secret has allowed me to untangle some of my confusion and wrong understanding about the whole thing. This is the book I should have read in the beginning.

Power of Subconscious Mind – Joseph Murphy

It is quite easy to get caught up in Fairytales fantasies and dreams when you’re trying to manifest something. Sooner or later you’ll find it harder two separate what is daydreaming versus actually manifesting. However, in The Power of the Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy, you will actually learn practical techniques you can use to start manifesting at a much more rapid pace.

For a scientifically and logically minded person such as myself, Joseph Murphy gives a clear and understandable explanation for how our minds and beliefs are always manifesting.

Think and Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill is one of The Originals when it comes to using your mind to manifest money.

One of the things that I found very useful is the concept of transmuting your energy to manifest what you desire. If you want to become financially wealthy, then this is the book that you must read over and over again.

What to know if you are a beginner manifester

Honestly, these four books that I’ve listed will be everything you need to get started on your journey with manifestation. There is so much bullshit out there that can end up wasting your time and even confuse you further.

You may be wondering why Abraham or Esther Hicks’s books are not recommended in this list. The whole concept of the vortex, and getting in the vibration and alignment is all bullshit which causes even more confusion for beginners!

Please stay away from the motivational and woo-woo law of attraction gurus out there. There are so many bullshit and scam artists that just want your money and don’t care whether you are getting your manifestation.

The most important thing is to actually apply what you learn from these books into actionable and tangible results. I’ve used the techniques and the concepts learned from these books to create the life I want.

What’s wrong with the concept of “the law of attraction”

While I refer to the term law of attraction here and there for algorithm purposes, the concept of “law of attraction” should be replaced by the law of belief or assumption as Neville Goddard / Joseph Murphy talks about.

Our whole life is built around our beliefs and what we choose to believe. We are not “attracting” things to us or we are not aligning our thoughts. Our thoughts and ideas are actually creating reality as we speak.

If you have not watched this video, please watch it:

Out of an infinite amount of possibilities, we create the reality that we choose to observe. In some ways, it’s quite freaky looking back at how life has unfolded before me and certain events that happened exactly as I feared.

Don’t get stuck on motivation

I left out a lot of new-age law of attraction books specifically for the reason that they are mostly filler. Most books by Neville Goddard for example are only 1-4 hours long whereas most books nowadays are at least 7 hours long with a bunch of useless bullshit.

While motivation is great for getting started, don’t get in the habit of mental masturbation and doing nothing with the knowledge that you do accrue. Neville Goddard is great for understanding the underlying concept and growing spiritually, but Joseph Murphy’s books are great for putting your knowledge into action.

There are plenty of practical techniques that he has listed, so pick one that works best for you and try it out for a few days.

You don’t need coaching!

Trust me, most coaches out there don’t know anything about the law of attraction. If you are going to get a coach, get coaching and mentorship from someone who you actually want to be like. Get advice and coaching from people who are doing the things that you want to do and live the life that you want to live.

Why pay $200 for an hour of video call session for them to tell you what you already know?

Consistency and practice are key!
