How To Lose Weight and Add Muscle Using Neville Goddard’s Teachings & Law of Attraction

I’ve been skinny my whole life. It’s a part of my identity and it’s how people mostly know me as. Even at the age of 29, I still have abs and look like I have a body of a young adult.

While I do have a relatively fit body, it’s a little bit annoying when people assume you are 20 when you are basically 30, at least for men. I think weight has a lot to do with how people perceive my age. Hence, I’ve recently started on a journey to add 20 kilograms to my weight, which is about 45 pounds.

Can you lose or gain weight with the Law of Attraction?

Compared to some other manifestation goals, yes you definitely can! I think this is very easy!

As a logically and scientifically minded person, I know for a fact that as long as I eat more calories than I spend during the day, I should be able to gain weight. The same goes for someone who is trying to lose weight. You just have to eat fewer calories than what your body normally needs in order to lose fat and weight.

I never had to struggle with weight gain personally because it was in my character or just a part of my identity to be physically active and thin. Thus, perhaps it affected my behavior and what I did with my life. I find it very easy to gain 5-7 kilograms and lose 5-7 kilograms.

However, I know a few people who’ve always been overweight and fat. Usually, they talk about how they tried to lose weight, how hard losing weight is, etc, etc. That they don’t have time, or this or that excuses. Or they find justification for why they like being fat or how it’s just “genetics”.

Ultimately I think it comes down to what we tell ourselves on a daily basis. I never had to struggle with weight because I see it as something very easy to change. If I gain more weight than I would like, I just don’t eat as much, but usually I never even bothered with diets, but have a harder time forcing myself to eat. My internal monologue usually is “If I don’t eat, I am going to lose weight and become even skinnier”. Whereas some other people have internal monologues such as “If I eat this pizza slice, I will add so much to my weight”

So it comes down to what we tell ourselves and the identity or role that we take in our lives.

How to lose or gain weight with Neville Goddard’s techniques?

There are two ways we can apply Neville’s techniques.

As I told you, I am on a journey to gain 20 kilograms of weight. I want to achieve a more built and larger build for my body because I am getting bored of being skinny all the time. It’s a good way to test the Law as well. You can read my stories and progress here: https://imagineneville.com/category/personal-manifestations/

However, before this journey, I did gain about 8-9 kilograms, which is around 20 pounds in just 3 months back in 2018! This wasn’t just pure fat, I actually got in a very muscular shape, and I wasn’t necessarily tracking my calories and getting all scientific with the whole process either. I just ate food as much food as possible and employed this technique:

Whenever I came back from the gym, I used to take a short nap. Before falling asleep, I visualized myself being muscular and big, looking at myself in the mirror and posing/admiring my physique.

This whole gaining weight and becoming muscular was out of spite as well after being rejected by a girl, so I just channeled my anger into the gym. My strength, my physique, and my size increased quite a lot just by going to the gym consistently, eating enough food, and visualizing every day about having a muscular body. And it worked!

The second technique is to act as if you are already the person that you want to be. So if you want to be skinnier and healthier, take note of your skinny and physically fit friends. How do they live, what do they talk about, and what kind of habits do they have? Most importantly what kind of mentality or mindset do they have? You need to feel and almost delude yourself into believing that you are already skinny and have an amazing body even when you are not.

Try to emulate your skinny friends as much as possible. Start hanging around physically fit people and become more active. If you always spend your time around unhealthy and overweight friends, then you will be pulled down by their negative habits.

Whenever you eat something, don’t worry about gaining weight or getting fat. Enjoy it, savor it, and bless the food for giving you vital energy to sustain your body. You need to change the way you think about food and eating. Food no longer should feel like an enemy you have to fight against.

Take conventional action

If you really want to speed up the process, take some logical steps to lose or gain weight. Start going to the gym, and taking a run in the morning or the evening.

Perhaps get a nutritionist or dietician who can help you make a meal plan for the week, etc.

It’s easier to trick your mind and subconscious that you are either losing fat or gaining muscle when you actually take logical steps towards your goal. Of course, some people don’t even bother going to the gym and still lose weight with the Law of Assumption and Neville’s teachings, but for some people, it just might be a hell a lot easier to convince themselves that they are getting results when they are taking some form of action.

I personally think that you should employ both physical and mental effort in order to get the most out of your results. As I mentioned, I gained 8-9 kilograms of muscle and mass within 3 months and looked REALLY good. No, I did not take steroids or any supplements.
